Surrendering to the divine

These past couple of weeks, actually the entire year, have been confusing and heavy for me. At the end of last year I made a decision to take control of my life and stop being so timid and stop waiting for everything to fall on my lap. However this has been mentally exhausting, I unconsciously took over the position of God in my life. I was trying to figure out how different puzzles of my life are suppose to come together, now this is soooo difficult when you don't know what the future holds, which situations and people are meant to be in your life to help you grow and not to stay.
Initially I did this to prove to myself that I am capable of controlling my life. The truth is you become weary and you do not get excited to live life because you feel like you know what your day is going to look like right? because you have your days and life all figured out.
We have to let go and surrender our lives, hopes and dreams to God because in that way the burden is lifted from us, you just enjoy the life you are blessed with and be grateful for all the undeserving gifts we have received. Letting go will also give the space to fulfill your purpose in life. Surrender all areas of your life to him...
